Although some believe Orion to be a step below Boctok and Raketa, I would argue that their styles and use of more modern looking design has them on the fast road to success. I personally own the Orion Gold Face Aviator, it is a very nice watch and the only complaint I have is that I didn't buy both the gold face and the black face models!

So if you are looking to test the waters with a purchase of a Russian watch for the first time I think you will enjoy the Orion models enough so that you will return shortly for additional purchases. I myself have a wish list of Orion's starting with the black faced aviator, and ending with the Doctors or travel models with the two separate movements and dials for setting the time in two different time zones at the same time!
