The history of the factory is that it started in 1942 during WWII. The First Moscow Watch Factory ( most known as Polojt factory ) was evacuated to the East to small town of Chistopol on the Kama river. During WWII the factory produced wrist watches and military equipment. After the war part of First Moscow Watch Factory was relocated back to Moscow and the factory continued to produce the wrist watches with its own trade mark Vostok.
